Teenager charged over alleged plot to shoot a father and his daughter at a Sydney school pick-up

The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times and WA Today reported that a teenager has been charged after allegedly coordinating a botched assassination of a father and his 15-year-old daughter during pick-up at a Sydney high school. We did not see the teen’s age, the school, a motive or the charges in full. These are allegations; no court has made findings.

A shooting at a school pick-up puts children and families at risk and raises questions about targeted violence in public places.

If you were at the school and have information, contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or police.

Charging a suspect quickly shows police are acting.

Allegations are not findings, and the young person is entitled to a fair process.

There is little more to say until police or a court give details. We will not repeat claims beyond what two outlets confirm.
