Seven names Ricki-Lee and Jim Jefferies as hosts of I'm A Celebrity for 2027

Seven announced its 2027 line-up on 22 October, naming Ricki-Lee and Jim Jefferies as hosts of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, The Nightly and TV Blackbox reported. They replace Julia Morris and Robert Irwin, who hosted the series on Network Ten from 2023 to 2025, according to The Nightly. The show moves to Seven and 7plus and will be filmed in South Africa, with promised fresh twists. Ricki-Lee hosts Australian Idol on Seven, and Jefferies has hosted The 1% Club Australia since 2023. Matt Shirvington will host new game show Stacks of Cash, and Shane Jacobson will host the quiz Caught in the Middle. No celebrity contestants or premiere date have been named.

Reality franchises with a known title can move between networks, and hosts are central to their identity, so the switch signals Seven's strategy to build a 2027 schedule around established formats.

Viewers who followed the show on Ten will need to find it on Seven or 7plus, and advertisers will plan around the new hosts.

Seven presents the hosts as familiar faces who will bring fresh energy, as reported by The Nightly and TV Blackbox.

Pedestrian.tv called the choice of hosts unexpected, and Seven has not yet named any celebrity contestants or a premiere date.

Confirmed: the two hosts, the network move and the South African location. Not confirmed: contestants and the premiere date. Watch for Seven's casting announcements.
