Chris Alexander drops out of the Toronto mayoral race
Chris Alexander, the former federal cabinet minister, withdrew from Toronto's mayoral campaign on Tuesday, according to the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, Global News and CBC. Advance voting has begun across the city. The Star asked whether his supporters will swing to Brad Bradford or Olivia Chow, who appear to be the main contenders.
A dropout during advance voting leaves some ballots already cast for him.
If you voted early for Mr. Alexander, your ballot counts as cast. If you have not voted, check the candidate list at your polling place.
Look for an endorsement. Where his supporters land may decide a close race.
