CP24 and CTV News reported that flu season is starting early, the Toronto Sun said provincial data show more flu and COVID-19 cases across Ontario, and Radio-Canada reported that flu is advancing and vaccination is essential. NTV News reported that RSV vaccination clinics for people 75 and older will begin across its province. We did not see weekly case counts.
Early seasons put pressure on emergency rooms before winter, and older adults face the highest risk of serious illness from flu and RSV.
Book a flu shot and check whether a COVID-19 or RSV shot is offered to you; older adults and people with chronic conditions are the priority groups.
