Polls open in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election
Polls opened on 8 October in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, the Guardian reported. A Guardian analysis asked what happened to the party that was set to replace Labour and said the Greens may yet win; the Guardian also reported that loss of green space could decide it. Greens leader Zack Polanski left the party conference early to campaign there.
A Green win in a Labour seat would be a sign of the party's strength on the left, even after its own vote on Zionism.
