Two teenagers are fighting for life after linked stabbings in Dagenham

A man aged 19 and a 17-year-old boy were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after two stabbings minutes apart near a busy park in Dagenham, east London, the BBC and the Evening Standard reported. Police believe the incidents are linked. The Standard said both were arrested. No further details had been released.

Knife attacks among teenagers remain one of London's most serious public-safety concerns.

If you saw anything near the park on Saturday, police appeal for witnesses and for any phone or doorbell footage.

Police say that linked attacks suggest a targeted dispute rather than a random threat.

Community groups say that repeated incidents show prevention and youth services are still not enough.

Wait for the charge and the Met's account before drawing conclusions. Watch for an update on the two teenagers' condition.
