Verstappen wins the Singapore Grand Prix; Hamilton apologises to Ferrari

Max Verstappen won the Singapore Grand Prix from pole position, his first win at Marina Bay and his second in a row, the BBC, the Guardian and the Telegraph reported. Charles Leclerc was second. Kimi Antonelli finished third, and the BBC said that means he can win the world title at the next race in Austin. Lewis Hamilton overrode a Ferrari strategy call, which Ferrari boss Frédéric Vasseur called 'a mistake', and he apologised to the team.

Antonelli's lead means the title could be settled at the US Grand Prix. Ferrari's strategy row will add pressure on the team and its driver.

If you follow F1, the next race could crown a champion.

Antonelli needs only to keep finishing high; the story for Ferrari is whether the team and Hamilton can repair trust.
