Union ballots: Fórsa 96.6%, SIPTU 97% and INMO 99% back industrial action
Fórsa reported that 96.6% of members who voted supported industrial action, on a turnout of 72.6%. SIPTU reported 97% support and the INMO 99% (results as reported in coverage of the dispute).
Strong ballots give unions a clear mandate to strike.
