Inagh-Kilnamona win a first Clare senior hurling title as club finals fill the weekend
Inagh-Kilnamona won the Clare senior hurling final for the first time (Irish Independent, Irish Examiner, RTÉ). Thurles Sarsfields won in Tipperary (Independent, RTÉ), and Rathnure beat St Martin's in the Wexford final (Independent). Football titles went to Portarlington (Laois), Tullamore (Offaly), Four Roads (Roscommon) and Clonduff (Down), and the Leitrim final will be replayed (Independent).
County club championships are the heart of the GAA calendar. A first title for a parish is a rare event.
If you follow your local club, provincial club championships follow these county finals, and Kerry's knockout stages continue.
A good day for first-time winners. Watch the provincial draws next.
