Polish police warn of a possible plot to attack Prime Minister Donald Tusk
Polish police said they received information about a possible attack on Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the defence minister, and security services met (AP, Reuters, RTÉ, Guardian). The BBC reported that a man suspected of planning an assassination was detained.
A threat to a European head of government is a security matter for the EU, of which Ireland holds the presidency this half-year.
