Anthropic's third-quarter revenue put at $16.8 billion
The Financial Times reported that Anthropic's revenue rose to $16.8 billion in the third quarter, and the company gathered investors for presentations in San Francisco on Wednesday ahead of an anticipated public listing. Reuters carried the FT figure and separately headlined growth of 45% to nearly $17 billion. Bloomberg said the results may help the case for the expected initial public offering but are unlikely to settle doubts over the global AI trade. The period for the 45% growth was not clear from the headlines.
Revenue on this scale puts the company among the fastest-growing in technology and bears on how investors value AI firms generally.
