PSG win a six-goal thriller at the Etihad; Parrott's Betis come back to beat Porto
The Irish Independent reported that Paris Saint-Germain hit four past Manchester City on Pep Guardiola's return to the Etihad, and RTÉ said City's fightback was not enough. The Journal called it a six-goal thriller. RTÉ also reported that Real Betis, with Troy Parrott, came back to beat Porto; the Irish Independent said Parrott had a tough night despite the win. Aston Villa beat Fenerbahce 6-0, the Independent and TheCable reported, and the Independent said Liverpool routed LASK, with Bradley Barcola scoring a hat-trick.
A big night for English clubs and for an Irish striker in a major European competition.
Irish fans following Parrott can note that Betis won but he was reported to have struggled.
