Bursa edges up before the Budget with cash-aid beneficiaries in focus; the Friday close was not confirmed
The KLCI rose 1.14 points to 1,602.15 at 9.16am on Friday (Bernama). Malacca Securities put resistance at 1,616-1,631 and support at 1,571-1,586. Malay Mail said Bursa rose with retailers in focus because of cash aid measures. The ringgit closed at 4.0830/0875 (Bernama). The 5pm close was not confirmed.
Markets are trying to price the Budget.
