Lee Zii Jia asks the High Court to curb his father and sister

Shuttler Lee Zii Jia applied for an interim injunction at the Kuala Lumpur High Court to stop his father and sister from making certain financial and management decisions at LZJ Management while a legal dispute is pending (NST). FMT said he also named his younger brother and the company as respondents. FMT’s Malay edition said the application was filed in the High Court on 2 July, although the reports appeared on 13 October; scoop.my and the Straits Times also carried it.

The dispute concerns who controls the business side of one of Malaysia’s best-known badminton players.

DailyDrop saw no response from the father or sister. The filing date and the report date differ, so the timing of any hearing is not known.
