Presidency adviser concedes poverty rose under Tinubu but blames the cost of reform

Bwala, special adviser on policy communication, said on Channels TV that poverty rose and linked it to reforms (Legit, Arise). Yakubu has disputed the link and the World Bank figure. A Guardian editorial said millions more have fallen into poverty.
