Presidency says the petrol discount is not a return of the fuel subsidy
Legit reported that Onanuga, in a social media post on October 8, denied that the subsidy is returning and described the offer as a margin discount at NNPC stations. In August he had said restoring a subsidy would need a legal and fiscal framework, and he noted the Petroleum Industry Act legally ended it. DailyDrop has not seen an opposition reply.
