Meralco rates rise in October on higher generation costs
Meralco’s rates rose in October because of higher generation costs (Inquirer, Rappler, Philstar, Manila Times). The Inquirer also reported that prices on the wholesale electricity spot market rose to ₱7.43 per kilowatt-hour in September. The reports reviewed do not give the total increase per kilowatt-hour.
