SWS survey: Duterte keeps 56 percent trust, Marcos recovers to 36 percent

A Social Weather Stations survey put Vice President Duterte’s trust rating at 56 percent and President Marcos’s at 36 percent (Inquirer, Manila Times, Philstar, Cebu Daily News). The Inquirer said Marcos’s rating rose to 36 percent. The reports reviewed do not give the survey dates or the margin of error.

Trust ratings shape political momentum before 2028, though they are not evidence in the impeachment trial.

A survey is a snapshot of opinion, not a forecast.

Read it with the impeachment trial in mind, but keep the two apart: popularity does not answer whether the wealth is explained.
