Parliament approves higher salaries for the President, the Speaker and Deputy Speakers
Parliament approved increases to the salaries of the President, the Speaker and the Deputy Speakers, the Straits Times and the Business Times reported. The Straits Times also reported that the performance bonus for political office-holders ranged from 2.5 to 6 months between 2016 and 2025.
