Crystal Jade will close four more outlets and has issued termination notices to about 120 workers ahead of a proposed sale, the Straits Times, the Business Times and CNA reported. CNA also reported that MOM is reviewing retrenchment measures amid signs of a softening labour market.
Restaurant closures are a sign of pressure on food and beverage businesses from rents, wages and manpower shortages.
