Cape Town car community to rally against gender-based violence on Saturday
Drive4Her founder Melissa van der Walt told CapeTalk the group is rallying Cape Town's car community, especially men, to drive action against gender-based violence at an event on 10 October at Titan Cargo, Airport Industria (EWN, 5 October). DailyDrop has not seen a second report.
Gender-based violence remains one of South Africa's biggest social problems, and campaigns aimed at men try to change attitudes.
If you are in Cape Town, the event is open to the car community. National helplines remain available for victims.
Single source. A small event, but part of a wider pattern of community action.
