Tshwane resident says the city will not disconnect him from the grid even after he followed the process
BusinessTech's Tuesday roundup, citing MyBroadband, reported that a Pretoria resident says the City of Tshwane will not disconnect him from the grid although he followed the official solar process. The city's side has not been reported in the sources DailyDrop saw.
Municipalities lose revenue when customers leave the grid, and rules for solar users vary by city.
If you plan solar, check your municipality's registration rules first.
Single report, city response pending.
