Rand ends the week stronger, snapping a four-week losing run
The rand ended the week stronger on Friday, breaking a four-week losing streak, with Reuters showing 16.5275 per dollar at 08:30 GMT, up about 0.7% on the week (Reuters via CNBC Africa, BusinessTech). Trading Economics put the Friday level near 16.50. The JSE All Share close was not confirmed.
A firmer rand eases the fuel price outlook.
