Two killed in a Katlehong drive-by shooting
Two people were killed in a drive-by shooting in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, IOL, eNCA and The Citizen reported. IOL said three people were injured and that a suspect handed himself over. The Citizen, in a later report, said the shooting hit a memorial service, that the dead were members of the ANC Youth League and that five others were wounded. Shootings at gatherings raise worries about political and criminal violence ahead of the elections.
Avoid large gatherings in the area until police give an update.
The count of wounded and the motive are not settled. Wait for police.
