European shares gain on Friday: STOXX 600 +0.75% to 631.35
The Euro STOXX 50 closed at 6,238.50 on Friday 2 October, up 63.05 points or 1.02% (MarketScreener). The STOXX 600 rose about 0.75% to 631.35 (Yahoo Finance quote page, Reuters via a report), but a weekly decline was reported. Euro-area inflation at a three-year high was largely shrugged off.
