Mombasa Archdiocese holds special prayers for the 17 pilgrims
The Archdiocese of Mombasa held special prayers for the 17 pilgrims killed at Salama, and Rigathi Gachagua was among politicians who mourned them (Capital FM). Both reports follow the 3 October crash.
The victims came from one parish, so the loss is concentrated in a few families and congregations around Mombasa.
Parishes and county governments may organise burials and support; check your own parish for funds.
Expect funerals and memorial services over the next week. DailyDrop has seen these reports from one outlet only.
