Three Saudis killed, a pilot among them, in Houthi attacks on Riyadh airport; airlines suspend flights
Saudi authorities said three Saudi nationals, including a pilot, were killed in Houthi attacks on Riyadh airport (AP, BBC, The New York Times, CNBC, The Guardian). A Saudia aircraft was reported hit, the Saudi-led coalition vowed a "firm" response (CNBC), and airlines suspended or cancelled flights to Riyadh (Guardian, Hindustan Times).
Attacks on a major airport disrupt air travel and show the war moving into Saudi Arabia's capital.
Kenyans working in or flying via Saudi Arabia should check flights and follow embassy advice.

The Houthis say they are answering a Saudi-backed offensive.
This was the earlier attack; a later one would be a separate event.
