NZX 50 ends the week at 13,749; US gold jumps 1.4% on Friday
The NZX 50 closed at 13,749 on Friday, up 0.4% and about 0.5% on the week (Trading Economics). Interest.co.nz's 3pm snapshot showed it flat. In the US, the S&P 500 rose 0.59% to 7,811.54, WTI 0.39% to US$91.85 and gold 1.43% to US$4,216.3 (market data).
The weekly gain follows a choppy fortnight for local shares.
KiwiSaver share funds edged up for the week.
The market reopens Monday.
