Update: Senate hearing on the Asian Games is set for 8 a.m. today
The Senate sports committee, chaired by Sen. Bong Go, holds a public hearing at 8 a.m. Thursday on controversies in the Philippines' Asian Games campaign under Proposed Senate Resolution No. 674. Gilas Pilipinas lost to Bahrain and China with no naturalised player. Volleyball athletes' unpaid allowances are also expected to come up (Daily Tribune).
