Marcos declares special non-working days in 10 localities in October
President Marcos issued proclamations declaring special non-working days in 10 localities during October to mark town fiestas, historical events and founding anniversaries, including Malita, Davao Occidental, on October 7 (Daily Tribune, Manila Times). Earlier proclamations covered other towns, such as Talisay, Batangas, on October 12.
