Wall Street slips 0.47 percent; oil jumps 3.6 percent to $91.50

The S&P 500 fell 0.47% to 7,765.36 on October 8, WTI crude rose 3.60% to $91.50 and gold gained 0.20% to $4,157.0, according to market data. DailyDrop has not found two published accounts of the cause of the oil jump and will not guess.

A rising oil price adds to inflation worries in the Philippines.

Higher crude can raise pump prices within a week or two.

Wait for the next weekly fuel price forecast on Monday.
